Citicoline manufactured by Kaiping Genuine Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. is fully equivalent to the novel food authorized for the first time to be placed on the European Union market by the Commission Implementing Decision of 1 July 2014 authorizing the placing on the market of citicoline as a novel food ingredient under Regulation (EC) No 258/97 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
